  1. Children younger than 12
  2. hypotension (systolic BP less than 90)
  3. Known erectile dysfunction meds taken in last 24-48 hrs.

Dose for Nitro

A

*1 tablet= 0.3-0.4mg
repeat every 3-5 mins. up to 3 times
or
*1 spray under tongue repeat every 3-5 mins.
*if pt. has taken 3 prior to your arrival, you can give 1 more if pts. vitals are within normal limits (systolic BP must be above 90)
