Karma - actions have consequences in this life or the next. Eg; if someone does good deeds, they believe they will be rewarded with GOOD Karma.
Ethics - Hinduism
Ahimsa - the principle of non-violence to ALL living beings including animals, plants etc.
- treat every living being with compassion and respect
Rituals - Hinduism
Puja (Worship): ritualistic worship of deities, gods, and goddesses.
Sacred Stories - Hinduism
Ramayana - tells the story of Lord Rama’s quest to rescue his wife Sita from the demon King.
Triumph of good over evil! no matter how powerful evil is, it will always be defeated by good
Social Structures - Hinduism
Society is divided into 4 Social Groups: ‘Castle System’
Spaces, Places, Time, and Artefact - Hinduism
Places: The Ganges River - pilgrimage to here to bathe in the water to cleanse themself of sins
Spaces: Temples - Encourages reflection

Symbols - Hinduism
Om - chanted during prayer and meditation. First sounds of the world.

The Vedas - contains hymns, prayers, rituals and teachings.
