A

dementia with an atypical course with absence of a better explanation
or
presence of another disease process capable of causing dementia but thought to not be the cause of the dementia in this case

A

histopathological evidence

what are features that make the diagnosis unlikely?

A

sudden onset
focal sensorimotor neurological deficits
seizures or gait disorder early in the course of the disease (this is likely something else)
