Q

Should doctors be able to strike?

A
  • Legal right to strike for any workers where their working conditions are not to standard they should be able to
  • Medicine is only profession where there is direct impact to life, beneficence and non-maleficence play a role in this as you are not able to work and treat patients.
  • Could work two ways where it could be non-maleficence to the doctor for not striking as their work conditions would worsen over time, also impacting the doctor
