the expression symbolizes Mary’s body with a meeting Tent. her womb is the ark.
this all means that god will make himself present among people in a new way.

ancient marrages were different than today’s because they were pre decided and the couples didn’t love each other, it was also about the family’s sharing goods or land.
- Why did Mary and Joseph travel to Bethlehem?
Becuse king Herod orders them when he counts a census.
