Yes but you have to make base contact!

If you respond to an 80-year-old male for a fall with head injury then you should contact base before completing a non-transport EPCR if the patient decides to refuse treatment or transport at any point during the call, even if that head injury is small.

Can pt in custody refuse transport

Answer 2

Patients in custody may refuse care, but not transport IF custodial agency requires transport.
