  1. Add 1/2 and 100 feet to approach at destination
  2. Add only 1/2 to TAF to determine alternate.
  3. If flying to Alternate Mins are 1sm and 300 feet or approach which ever is higher.
  4. You may also need a takeoff alternate if adding the 1/2 to your takeoff airport puts you below High Mins.
  5. Ops specs has RVR chart conversion.
