2. Echo showing valvular vegetation
Minor:
1. predisposing cardiac lesion or IVDU
2. Temperature >38
3. Embolic phenomena
4. Immunologic phenomena (GN etc.)
5. Positive culture not meeting major criteria

Cut off for Definite IE

Jones Criteria

1. carditis, polyarthritis, chorea, erythema marginatum, subcutaneous nodules

1. polyarthralgia, fever (>38.5), ESR (>30 for high risk population, >60 for low risk population), prolonged PR interval
