Makes you vigilant
Wakes you up charged with energy
Kinda like “ oh shoot - I’m scared”
Serotonin
Sleep and wakefulness
In antidepressants often
Too much = aggressive behaviour
Endorphins
Runners high Indogenis(?) Bodies natural pain killer Morphine is the artificial version (Wake up in hospital -> ready to punch through a wall)
Drugs
Mimic neurotransmitters
Or
Interfere with their release
Agonist
Increase the action of a neurotransmitter
“Everybody get going! You got this! Keep releasing neurotransmitters!”
Antagonist
Block the function of a neurotransmitter
Take all of the parking spots
Stop the action
