Depression, dry MM, and hyperthermia

Monitor/control body temperature if a large amount is ingested, otherwise decontamination and monitor

Odor- mouse- like (like WTF what does that mean)
Roots- large white to pale yellow taproot
Stem- smooth, hollow, purple spotted
What is the toxic principle of poison hemlock?
Coniine (alkaloid class)
What are the clinical signs of poison hemlock poisoning?
Initial signs- salivation, vomiting, and diarrhea
Neuro- dilated pupils, blindness in birds, ataxia, weakness, abdominal pain, trembling, excitement followed by depression
The presence or absence of which clinical sign can differentiate water and poison hemlock toxicity?
Convulsions
