IOL-intraocular lens: FYI: there are different types of lens-Toric, Crystal, Multi, etc. and come in different colors and styles. Some are yellow and some are clear. Some have colored haptics, while others are the same color as the lens itself. Basic lens have 2 haptics and Crystal lens have 4 red haptics.
Haptics can be made of the same material as the lens or can be a suture-like filament like you’d find on a Multi lens.
