BLANK is an inflammation of the meninges. The meninges are the three membranes that cover the brain and spinal cord. It can occur when fluid surrounding the meninges becomes infected. The most common causes are viral and bacterial infections.

A

Status epilepticus is defined as continuous and prolonged seizure activity or recurring seizures
without an intervening return to normal consciousness. It is critical that convulsive status be stopped
within 60 minutes to prevent both systemic and neurologic complications.
