Neuroclinical Tests Flashcards
What is Position Discrimination test?
A test used to assess spatial analysis deficits.
Consists of sets of two adjacent horizontal squares, one with a dot printed in the centre as one why’ve a dot slightly off centre. The patient must point the centralised dot. This test must be supplied by others.
What is number location test?
Used to assess spatial analysis deficits.
Consists of sets of two non-adjacent squares placed one above the other. The bottom squares contains one single dot corresponding to j e of the randomly placed nine by vers of the top square. The patient must say or point to the number that matches the dot.
What is cube analysis?
A test used to assess spatial analysis deficit.
The patient has to interpret three-dimensional representations. Ask the patient to count the number of solid bricks.
What is the discrimination of line orientation test?
Used to assess spatial analysis deficits.
It is a graded difficulty task. Two figures showing a sun ray of lines of different orientation. The top has two rays. The bottom one 11, spanning 180 degrees. Match the top lines with the lines in the bottom figure.
Fairly sensitive - provides norms for groups of brain-damages and normal groups.
