triptans= serotonin receptor agonists = cause vasocontriction in the brain to relieve vascular headaches and block pain pathways
ERGOTS= serotonin receptors
BOTH C/I in pregnancy

CT angiogram
d-dimer to rule out PE or DVT if questionable
