one advantage of using packet switching is multiple routes can be used between devices therefore if one breaks down then anouther can be used this makes transmission easier
a second advantage of packet switching is it’s efficent use of network as each channel is only used for a short perod of time ,if there’s an error only a small part of the data is affected this can be retransmitted easily

packet switching is a method of communication in which data is using packets across a network.packets are sent across the most efficent route this means they may arrive in a different order they were sent .Once packets arive
they are reordered
