CEPH
Used for Hyperconverged CEPH storage
Storage Management
Used for communication between Storage nodes
Tenant
Used by VMs to communicate within an Openstack Tenant

Management network for UCS Servers
Service and Replication Networks
Used for Application Traffic and database replication
What vlans are configured in the Ultra-M solution?
- OAM
- Gx
- Rx
- Sy
- LDAP
- GRPC
- Replication
- BSF
OAM VLAN
The Management Network is used for network management (SNMP), unified API, login to CPS machines through OAM manager, and to access Policy Builder and Control Center web interfaces. All VMs within each site require a Management Network interface.
Gx VLAN
The Gx Network Interface is for connecting from the vPCRF Policy Director to the PGW for Gx traffic. Only the Policy Director’s require a Gx Network Interface.
Rx VLAN
The Rx Network Interface is for connecting the vPCRF Policy Director to the Application Function (AF) for Rx traffic. As with the Gx Network Interface, only the Policy Director’s require an Rx Network Interface.
Sy VLAN
The Sy Network Interface is for connecting the vPCRF Policy Director’s to the Nokia and Ericsson OCS for Sy traffic. As with the Gx Network Interface, only the Policy Director’s require a Sy Network Interface.
LDAP VLAN
The LDAP Network Interface is for connecting from the vPCRF Policy Director to the USD External SPR for LDAP traffic. As with the Gx Network Interface, only the Policy Director’s require an Rx Network Interface.
