  • Connectivity around the globe. Users can connect to other countries

  • Uses the internet to securely connect remote digital devices. On a VPN, remote workers can access all your office systems and applications

  • Bandwidth refers to the maximum amount of data that can be transmitted via an internet provider over a certain period of time

A
  • The time delay for a data packet to travel to its destination
  • An implication of high latency is on video calls - loss of synchronisation between audio and visual
