Networking and Content Delivery Flashcards
Amazon API Gateway
A fully managed service for creating, deploying, and managing APIs. It allows you to create RESTful and WebSocket APIs that can be accessed by applications or developers using HTTP or HTTPS. It also provides features such as authentication, caching, and throttling to help you manage and secure your APIs.
Amazon CloudFront
A content delivery network (CDN) service that speeds up the delivery of static and dynamic web content, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and images, to end users. It integrates with other AWS services, such as Amazon S3 and Elastic Load Balancing, to provide a highly available and scalable solution for delivering content.
AWS Direct Connect
A service that enables you to establish a dedicated network connection from your on-premises data center to AWS. It provides a dedicated and secure connection, which reduces network costs, increases bandwidth throughput, and provides a more consistent network experience than using the public internet.
Amazon Route 53
A highly available and scalable Domain Name System (DNS) service. It routes end-users to Internet applications by translating domain names, such as www.example.com, to IP addresses, such as 192.0.2.1.
Amazon VPC
A service that enables you to launch Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) instances and other resources into a virtual network that you’ve defined. It allows you to create a virtual network in your own logically-isolated section of the AWS cloud, with your own IP address range, and configure your own network services, such as virtual private gateways, subnets, and route tables.
