Network Flashcards

What is the accordance with Pathways and Spaces the Coast Guard uses?

Installation standards shall be in accordance with TIA-569B series.

Where can you not have a pathway located.

Elevator shafts

what kind of location should you run cable

installed in dry location, and the cable rated for

what areas can be use for pathways
Areas above ceilings, spaces fir connecting hardware, floor panel, under floor duck system,
How to reduce noise coupling?
Increased physical separation, electrical branch circuit line, neutral, and grounding conductors, use of fully enclosed, grounded metallic raceway
Planning
The design shall provide a suitable means and method for supporting cables. Cables SHOULD not be laid directly on the ceiling tile or rails.
Clearance
Minimum of 75 mm (3in) clear vertical space available above ceiling tiles, horizontal cabling and pathway.
Minimum clearance
Minimum clearance in cable pathways under an access floor shall be 20 mm
Cable Trays
Shall be designed to accommodate a maximum calculated fill ratio of 50% to maximum of 150 mm.
bend radius
less than 25 mm (1in), Hybrid cables may require a larger ben radius than traditional cables.
Remember minimum numbers for cable runs
25 mm When it comes to running cables.
