What is the offside rule?
The offside rule is where you must stay within certain areas depending on your position e.g. GD. Penalty would be a free pass to the opposing team.
What is the footwork rule?
The rule is that you must keep your feet where they are and you cannot move with the ball. You are allowed to pivot. Penalty would be a free pass to the opposing team.
What is the 3 second rule?
You must only hold the ball for 3 seconds. Penalty would be that the opposing team would get the ball.
What is the obstruction rule?
Everyone must be at least 1 metre away from the ball. Penalty would be a free pass to the opposing team.
What is the contact rule?
Must not make contact with any other player. Penalty would be that the opposing team get a free pass.
Name the types of dodges.
Feint dodge - Running in one direction then abruptly changing and signalling to catch the defender off guard.
Sprint dodge - When someone sprints back to receive the ball.
Types of passes
Chest pass- for when you are close to someone.
bounce pass - To avoid someone and pass to the side.
Shoulder pass - when someone is far away
