The body’s control center and communication network.
It directs the functions of the bodies organs and systems

The brain and the spinal cord
What are Schwann cells
They form myelin sheaths around nerve fibers in the  (PNS).

Areas where the terminal branches of an axon are anchored close to , but not touching the ends of the dendrites of another neuron.
What are neurotransmitters
Neurotransmitters are your bodies chemical messengers that carry messenges from one nerve cell to a target cell

Functions and receiving interpreting visual input
What does the sympathetic division do
It is part of the ANS fight or flight increased breathing and heart rate
What does the parasympathetic division do
Part of the ANS returns to normal and slows breathing and heart rate
Describe the sclera
The outermost layer of the wall of the eye. The white of the eye. Sclera is hard and gives the shape.
Describe the iris
Colored part of the eye. Sits behind your eye and it controls the amount of light that goes in.
