Q

Describe two or more functions of the peripheral nervous system?

Q

describe the structure and function of a neuron?

A

-sensory neuron - detect information from your senses (cell body,dendrites,axon-pass on information onto the CNS)
-relay neuron- only found in the CNS and visual system (axon is much shorter allowing sensory + motor neurons to communicate with eachother)
-motor neuron - allow muscle contractions (axon is very long, up to 1 metre)
