First unprovoked seizure- can’t drive for 6 months
Can patients with epilepsy drive?
Yes they can drive a motor vehicle
Not a large goods or person carrying vehicle
BUT they must have been seizure free for 1 year and established a 3 year period of asleep attacks without awake attacks
Heavy goods vehicle - 5 years
