We give different names so we can tune in to his specific dimension

All cultures call there thing in its most specific way ,eg: eskimos have different names for ice

Many names depicts and allows us to think more richly and accurately about h’

its possible to believe h’ doesn’t exist its unlikely
h’ is the best explanation for the facts
g/d seems the most natural and likely answer

one thing to know him,another to have a relationship with him
requires passion -constant work/investment (like any relationship )

1st step is g/d awareness -noticing providence

engagement -talking to him,ask for things,learn his torah do his mitzvos,on our side

gives us entrees -prayer,torah study ,mitzvos -its the formula he created to get close to him
