Nephrotic Syndrome Flashcards

1
Q

Define Nephrotic Syndrome?

A

It is characterised by a triad of:

  • Proteinuria (> 3 g/24 hr)
  • Hypoalbuminaemia (< 30 g/L)
  • Oedema

Hypercholesterolaemia is also a common feature
