- 85% of all cerebellopontine tumors in adults
- RF: NF type 2, loud noise exp, pedi rad exp, ho parathyroid adenoma, cell phone use
- s/s: unilateral SNHL, tinnitus, facial nerve sx
- MRI
- surg/rad if large, young pt, or sig HL otherwise monitor via serial img & audiometry

- CT, laryngoscopy w/ bx, esophagoscopy, bronchoscopy
- tx: rad or partial laryngectomy, chemo if late stage
