The origin of the malignant tumor.

A neoplasm undergoing malignant changes but still confined to point of origin w/o invasion of surrounding tissue.
What is a benign neoplasm?
Not malignant, noninvasive tumor that does not spread to a distant site, encapsulated.
What is a neoplasm of uncertain behavior?
Behavior cannot be predicted. We don’t know what it’s going to turn into or do.
What is a neoplasm of unspecified behavior?
Unspecified as to either behavior type or morphology. We don’t know anything about the tumor.
