HPV is involved in 99% of cancers. 2nd most common cause of female cancer mortality.
E6 interacts with p53 in host cell, promoting degradation
E7 complexes with retinoblastoma
Rb and p53 are both tumor suppressors

A
High risk strains: 16, 18, 31, 39, 45, 59
