Perineum (Fournier’s gangrene)

A
- Pain, swelling and erythema over site
- Rapidly worsening cellulitis that’s pain is out of keeping with physiological process
- Skin tenderness and necrosis
- Acute onset
- Tachycardia late presentation

How is it managed?
A
IV antibiotics and urgent surgical referral for debridement
