Accepted Programme
Programme in contract data or last accepted programme by PM
Completion
Done all work in the WI & corrected notified Defects which would have prevented the Employer from using the works
Works Information
Specifies and describes the works and states any constraints on how contractor provides the works
Project Manager
Appointed and acts on the behalf of the Employer
Supervisor
Check for compliance with the WI
Early Warning
A communication to the other party as soon as they become aware of a matter which has the potential to increase total price, delay completion, delay a Key Date or impair the performance of the works
What is the Risk Register called in NEC4?
Early Warning Register
Items to include on programme
Access dates, completion dates, key dates, order and timing of the works, float, TRA
Reasons for not accepting programme
1) Plans not practicable, 2) Does not show the information the contract requires, 3) Not realistic, 4) Does not comply with WI
How long does PM have to accept/reject programme?
2 weeks, with obligation to meet within 1 week. If PM fails to respond its a CE
Clause 32 programme
Is the revised programme - actual progress, implemented CEs
Defect
Part of the works which is not in accordance with the WI
Defect Date
Period identified within contract data for which Contractor is responsible for defects - 104 weeks - 2 years
Defect Correction Period
Period within which individual defects should be corrected - 2 weeks
Cost components of defined cost
People, Equipment & plant, Materials, Charges, Manufacture & fabrication, Design, Insurance
