A Section is identified by a
numbers only, i.e., 90.1, 90.2, 250.20, or

IDENTIFIED SUBSECTION
A Subsection is identified by a capital letter or number in parenthesis, i.e., Subsection (A) Electrodes Permitted for Grounding and Subsection (1) Metal Underground Water Pipe. (PAGE 70-117)

Exceptions apply to the
preceding rule only unless otherwise noted,
as in exceptions no.1, no. 2 and no. 3 to

Exceptions are italicized and multiple
exceptions are numbered. Example: there
