What must an NEC programme contain?

A

NEC Claus 31.2 says the programme should show:
- Starting date, access date, key dates, and completion date
- Planned completion
- order and timing of the operations which the Contractor plans to do
- provisions for float
- provisions for time risk allowance
- dates when in order to provide the work the Contractor would need access to any part of the site , acceptances , plant and materials provided by the client, info from others
- any other info requested within scope
- statement of how the Contractor plans to do the work identifying principal equipment and resources which will be used

What does contract data part 1 and 2 contain?

A

Part 1 - Employer

Includes:
description,
parties - Employer, PM, Supervisor, Adjudicator,
Where Works information and Site information is kept
Information on dates and key dates - e.g. start, completion and sectional completion
Testing and defects information
Payment information
Information on compendation events (weather reference info etc)
Risk and insurance
Various options

Part 2 - Contractor

Contractors name address and key people
Contractors design portion of the works - where located
If activity schedule or bills of quantities the details of them
Various rates and percentages for overheads
Design overhead percentages
Various information for rates and rates for equipment etc

What are early warning notices?

A

Early warnings are mandatory and wide-reaching and can require advance notification of anything which could increase the prices, delay completion or the meeting of a key date or be likely to increase the contractor’s total cost.
