What is the role of NCNZ
Governs the practice of nurses by sitting in monitoring standards of registration which insures safe and competent care for the public of New Zealand

What is Professional responsibility
Legal and ethical responsibilities, cultural safety, demonstrate knowledge and judgement, accountability, promoting health consumer safety, independence, quality of life and health
What is management of nursing care
Assessment and managing care responsive to consumer needs, supported by nursing knowledge and evidence based research
What is interpersonal relationships
Therapeutic communication with consumers and staff, documentation
What is interprofessional healthcare and quality improvement
Evaluates effectiveness of care and promotes nursing perspective
What is the NCNZ code of conduct
It serves as both advice for and as an evaluation tool for nurses, and informs health consumers of their rights concerning what they can and should expect of the nurse
How many principles are in the NCNZ code of conduct
There are eight primary principles
What are the NCNZ conduct values
Respect, trust, partnership and integrity
Social media guidelines and rules for social media use
Respect our consumers privacy and confidentiality, (work) respectively with colleagues to best meet health consumers needs, each with integrity to justify health consumers trust, maintain public trust and confidence in the nursing profession
