all members had to swear an oath of loyalty and they also learnt Nazi ideology and race theory with lessons they called “German heroes” and “the evil of the Jews”

- sports intended to enhance fitness, strength and beauty. Had to be able to run 60 metres in 14 seconds
Trained to cook, iron, sew and prepare for life as a housewife. Also taught the importance of “racial hygiene”, they need to only marry a pure Aryan man.
