How were youth educated during Nazi regime ?
/ Jews, the physically handicapped, Gypsies were thrown out of schools.
/ School textbooks were rewritten.
/ Children were taught to be loyal and submissive and worship Hitler.
/ After a period of training, they joined the Labour Service. Then they had to enter one of the Nazi organizations.
What was the role of women during Nazi society ?
/ Girls were taught to become good mothers and rear pure-blooded Aryan children.
/ Girls had to distance themselves from Jews and look after the home
/ Women who produced racially desirable children were awarded and were encouraged to produce many children.
How did Hitler reconstruct Germany ?
/ Hitler hired the economist Schacht who aimed at full production through a state programme which produced superhighways and Volkswagen.
/ Hitler also pulled out of the League of Nations in 1933, reoccupied the Rhineland in 1936
/ Schacht advised him against investing in rearmament as the state still ran on deficit financing. Hitler did not like such people and removed him.
