How did the Reichstag fire help Hitler
Hitler used the fire to persuade Hindenburg to pass an emergency law restricting personal liberty. This enabled him to imprison many communist leaders, which stopped them campaigning during the election. This means he has more of a chance of gaining more seats
What was the Enabiling act
the Reichstag voted by the required two-thirds majority to give Hitler the right to make laws without the Reichstag’s approval for four years
How did the enabling act help Hitler rise to power
. It gave Hitler absolute power to make laws, which enabled him to destroy all opposition to his rule.

Rohm (leader of the SA) and the SA demanded that the SA take over the army and that the Nazis go back to their socialist ideas. Hitler couldn’t afford to anger wealthy business men and the military so the SS started the night of Long Knives.
