Religion provides humans with an understanding to these questions, and helps to construct meaning, provides ethical guidance, and provides a sense of belonging.

Religion gives individuals guidance in life through complex ethical systems and sacred texts which they can draw on for wisdom. Religious beliefs contribute to an individual’s sense of self, and understanding and belonging.
For example: Martin Luther; A man who’s religion guided him ethically to make changes.
