Immanent worldview?
Belief of a divine power dwelling within the individual

Define beliefs:
Ideas that are considered true and express the self-understanding of the tradition
What are ethics?
Ideas about worthy human conduct-moral principles that provides a guideline to govern behaviour
Define sacred texts/writings
Can be written material, oral traditions, artistic reps
‘Sacred’ containing revelation or having direct relation with the transcendent/contain the truths on a particular religion and provide guidance
What are rituals and ceremonies ?
A set of series of actions performed with religious meaning -practise and practical application of beliefs
How do the characteristics of re interact to create a dynamic, living religion?
All characteristics are essential in combining to create a dynamic, living religion - it is impossible for the characteristics to exist without one another
Eg. Rituals give the ethics and beliefs, which combine, a physical lived expression.
