Secondary sources

A

Made after the period being studied but usually incorporate primary source as a basis. it is an overview or an interpretation of what happened in the past.

Evidence

A

Primary sources being used as facts about the past. sources only become evidence when they are used.

Information that tends to be prove or disprove a conclusion

Why use evidence?

A

Historians use it to reconstruct the past by putting the pieces of evidence together. Once constructed, historians try to interpret the past.

Once interpreted, they must understand the past so then we could start to understand the present.
