A natural hazard may affect life in away that the natural environment is affected as secondary hazards such floods can kill fish and and harm coral reefs while they can affect human life ecomically as there is loss of live and loved ones as well as damage to property which takes money to fix and loss ofhomes due to asha fall and injury, as well as losss of agricultural crops which decrease production.

Responces to natural hazards include setting up a relief fund, search and recue, leaving the area/evacuating, conducting drills, removing dead trees from yard, securing objects, stock piling supplies, planning evacuation process, putting important documents in waterproof casing
