EGI Alignment Methods
Ground / Gyro Compass (GC) - Performed WoW. Takes ~4 minutes
Stored Heading (SH) - Performed WoW
In-Motion (IM) - Can be performed in air or shipboard. Takes ~10 minutes

Flight within 25nm must be <500 ft agl. if cloud tops <40k, maintain 10nm. If cloud tops >40k, maintain 25 nm. Nothing, including ground ops within 10nm.

— 2 minutes at IDLE prior to shutdown.

In-flight AR probe operations are limited to a single extend or retract command no less than
10 minutes
apart, or a single command followed by a second command allowed in under 10 minutes with a 10% torque
reduction
