What is NATO?
A
NATO is a political and military organisation formed in April 1949 as a collective security organisation against the Soviet Union. It provided collective security through Article 5 which meant an attach on one is an attack on all. It provides military support for countries less equip. NATO provides air policing, humanitarian aid, ground support and political solutions globally. It has 29 members.
