what is G6PD (Glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase)
deficiency is the commonest human enzyme deficiency. X-linked hereditary disorder, Asymptomatic, patients are predominantly male. Favism triggers haemolytic anemia in people with GP6DH deficiency (ingestion of fava beans)
