The Service has obtained a medical delegation from a physician in order for police officers to be able to administer Naloxone to members of the public experiencing an overdose. This medical delegation stipulates that

The Naloxone Tracking Form text template in the related eReport forthwith, regardless of whether Naloxone was administered or not.
The Ontario Special Investigations Unit (OSIU) has advised all police services across Ontario that they require notification in instances where
officers administer naloxone and the OSIU established injury threshold is met. This will include instances of admission of the overdosing subject to hospital and instances where officers did not administer Naloxone spray when there was a delay in attendance at the scene by Toronto Paramedic Services (Paramedics) and or Toronto Fire Services (TFS). The OSIU may also invoke their mandate in all instances where Naloxone is administered to an on-duty Service member.
