Affecteed Engine:
- AP/YD DISC/TRIM INTRPT - PRESS and RELEASE
- Condition Lever - CUTOFF
- Propeller Lever - FEATHER
- Fuel Firewall Valve - CLOSED
- Fire Extinguisher - ACTUATE (if required)
Engine Fire on Ground
Affected Engine:
- Condition Lever - CUTOFF
- Fuel Firewall Valve - CLOSED

Engine Failure During Ground Roll
- Power Levers - IDLE
- Brakes - AS REQUIRED
- Operative Engine - MAX REVERSE
if insufficient runway remains for stopping - Condition Levers - CUTOFF
- Fuel Firewall Valves - CLOSED
- Master Switch - OFF (Gang Bar Down)
Engine Failure After Liftoff (If conditions preclude an immediate landing)
- Power - MAX ALLOWABLE
- Airspeed - MAINTAIN (takeoff speed or above)
- Landing Gear - UP
- Propeller (inop engine) - FEATHER
- Airspeed - BEST RATE OF CLIMB (after obstacle clearance altitude is reached)
- Flaps - UP
Engine Failure in Flight Below Vmca
- Reduce power on operative engine as required
2. Lower nose to accelerate above minimum control speed.
2nd Engine Flameout
- Power Lever - IDLE
- Propeller Lever - DO NOT FEATHER
- Condition Lever - CUTOFF
- Conduct Air Start Procedures
Glide
- Landing Gear - UP
- Wing Flaps - UP
Determine that procedures for restarting 1st and 2nd failed engines are ineffective before feathering 2nd propeller - Propellers - FEATHERED
- Airspeed - 135 KNOTS
Electrical Smoke or Fire
- Oxygen Mask - DON
2. Mic Selector Switch - OXYGEN MASK

Autopilot Malfunction/ Pitch Trim Runaway
- Control Wheel - GRIP FIRMLY
- AP/YD/TRIM INTRPT Button - PRESS AND HOLD (be prepared for high elevator pressures)
- Aircraft Attitude - MAINTAIN/REGAIN AIRCRAFT CONTROL (use standby attitude indicator if necessary)
SPINS
- Contol Column - FULL FORWARD
- Rudder - FULL RUDDER OPPOSITE SPIN DIRECTION
- Power - REDUCE
These 3 actions should be done as nearly simultaneously as possible; then continue to hold this control position until rotation stops and then neutralize control and execute a smooth pullout. Ailerons should be neutral during recovery.
