The meeting is like a seduction described as โ€˜๐ฆ๐ฒ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ž๐ซ๐ข๐ฎ๐ฆ ๐ญ๐ซ๐ž๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐๐ฎ๐ฆ ๐ž๐ญ ๐Ÿ๐š๐ฌ๐œ๐ข๐ง๐š๐ง๐ฌโ€™ - fascinating meaning compelling by attraction; immensely powerful. Unlike anything in our daily lives, a special kind of experience which is simply religious.

Q

criticisms of St Teresa of Avila

A
  • she says thereโ€™s a change in a person who has seen God. However a change for the good could happen as the person believes they have encountered God - but this doesnโ€™t mean they really have
  • her dreams and visions ound like sexual pleasures; was she just repressed?
