myQA SRS Flashcards
What are the main specifications of myQA SRS and why are they important?
- Field size: 12x14 cm2 which matches approximate size of the head. With This size we are allowing measurements of multiple targets at once
- Resolution: 0.4 mm which allows customers to measure even small targets with the high resolution and not miss any detail of the stereotactic delivery
Can myQA SRS measure treatment plans with couch kicks?
Yes, myQA SRS can be used to measure treatment plans in native geometry including full gantry, colli and couch rotations.
Does myQA SRS have angular dependency and if yes, how we are correcting it?
Yes, myQA SRS has angular dependency and the amount is depending on the incident angle to the detector. For the correction we are using GS+ which is in the real time delivering information about gantry position. In the myQA Patients SW, GS+ information in then combined with LUT for the angular correction
Can myQA SRS be used for QA of the different body sites?
Yes, with myQA SRS customers can QA treatment plans independent of the tumor location in the body.
What is difference between myQA SRS and MatriXX Resolution?
There are technical differences in the resolution and field size. myQA SRS is with high resolution and smaller field size more suitable for stereotactic deliveries. MatriXX Resolution with larger field size and lower resolution is more suitable for standard IMRT/VMAT treatments where fields are bigger and dose falloff no so critical as in stereotactic cases
What does “stereotactic RT mean”?
Delivery of high fractional doses to the treatment volume(s). Whole treatment usually consist of 1-8 fractions.
What is difference between “stereotactic RT” and standard IMRT/VMAT?
Standard IMRT/VAMT treatment are used to treat larger tumors with smaller fractional dose than stereotactic RT, while stereotactic RT treats smaller targets with higher doses (and higher accuracy)
