MG: Signs/Symptoms
A
ENT (CN 5, 7, 9-12): diplopia, ptosis, dysphagia, difficulty chewing, dysarthria
Heart: HTN, 1 degree AV block, a fib, myocarditis, CM, diastolic dysfunction
Lungs: dyspnea (2/2 respiratory muscle compromise)
Neuro: muscle weakness
Other: hyperthyroid, RA, SLE, anemia

A
Autoimmune destruction of postsynaptic nicotinic Ach receptors at NMJ leads to muscle weakness - worsens with activity and improves with rest
MG develops in 30-65% of thymoma anterior mediastinal masses
