what is the importance of Allah’s characteristics?
helps Muslims... understand him better follow the way he wants them to live strengthen their relationship with Allah encourages Muslims to be better
what is the importance of prophet Adam?
He was the first prophet to be created. His task is to look after the world and teaches Muslims to care for Allah’s creations.
what is the importance of prophet Ibrahim?
He tried to encourage the worship of Allah. The story is that Allah tested his faith by telling him to sacrifice his son.
what is the importance of prophet Isma’il?
He is the son of Ibrahim. he is known for being patient and kind.
what is the importance of prophet Musa?
The Quran states that he was sent to the pharaoh of Egypt and Israelite by Allah for guidance and warning.
what is the importance of prophet Dawud?
He is a law giver and is the king of Israel. He is best known for defeating Goliath.
what is the importance of prophet Isa?
He is the messenger of Allah and who received the injil (gospel)

He is the final prophet in Islam. He is believed to have received the Quran from angel jibril.

why is angel jibril is important?
He is important as he revealed the quaran to Muhammad so without him they wouldn’t have the Quran
why is izra’il important?
Angel jibril is the angel of death so is responsible for signaling the day of judgement and makes Muslims realize they should live how Allah wants them to.
why is angel Mika’il important?
Angel Mika’il is important as he is the angel of mercy and this reassures Muslims they can be rewarded on the day of judgment
what are the implications of al-Quadr?
1) Muslims will want to live their lives according to the beliefs of the day of judgment
2) Muslims will constantly be aware of their thoughts beliefs and actions
3) they will try to help others as this is what the Quran teaches them
what is al-Quadr and the day of judgment?
al-Quadr is belief in predestination and the day of judgment is a day when Allah will judge weaver they will go to jahanna or jahannam. at this point it is too late to beg forgivness.
how does life after death affect Muslims?
Akhirah (life after death) affects Muslims by
1) Making them more aware that Allah is watching
2) makes them realize the importance is asking forgiveness
3) they will view every action as if Allah is watching
4) they will try to live their life as good muslims (reading the quaran, go to the mosque, help others ect)
what happens in akhirah?
izra’il will take them to barzakh. Allah will judge them. two angels will recite your good and bad deeds. they will go to al-jannah if they name is written on the right hand side and if it is written on the left they go to jahannam
why is the Quran important in islam?
muslims believe it is the word of allah
muslims use it in prayer
muslims use it to help them with guidance
