how are the six beliefs of islam expressed today
muslims will recite the belief in the oneness of allah in their prayers each day
they will look to the Qur an for advice to help them understand their faith better and follow allah
why are the 5 roots of usul ad din important to shia muslims
you must follow them in order to be a muslim, rejecting them will lead to punishment
they believe Allah elected the twelve imams and so their teaching is correct
why is al qadr-pre destination important to muslims
although theres suffering muslims dont need to worry about their future because God is in control
any suffering must be accepted because its part of Gods plan and there’ll be a good outcome
three ways allah is described in the qur an

allah is all powerfull
allah is present everywhere
why are islamic holy books important to muslims
All holy books were sent by Allah
with the same message and those
who dont believe the message will be
punished (Surah 4:140)
All holy books were originally written by
prophets and prove that Allah has
cared for his people throughout history
what are three obligatory acts of shia muslims
must observe Salah, by praying everyday (1) Shi’as must pay Khums to support the community (1) Shi’as should go on pilgrimage to show devotion (1)
two reasons why zakah is important to muslims
Giving to charity is an obligatory act (1) which shows true submission to Allah (1) Zakah means ‘purity’ (1) and Muslims believe that by giving to charity all other belongings become purified (1)

Fasting is ordered in the Qur’an (1) to bring the person into greater consciousness of Allah Surah 2:183 says fasting is prescribed to guard against evil Fasting helps Muslims to appreciate the generosity of Allah (1) as they remember those who are hungry and suffering
